About this course

Weather decides when navigation is easy and when it is impossible, and every navigator from the hiker to the pilot learns to read it in advance. This course teaches weather literacy for travel: reading the pressure charts that show approaching systems, decoding the aviation reports that state wind, visibility, and ceilings precisely, reading the clouds as a living forecast, and using marine weather products to route across open water. The goal is simple: never be surprised by the weather again.
