About this course
In an emergency, the first few minutes decide the outcome, and what you do before you reach the veterinarian can make the difference between life and death. This classroom gives you practical, calm, hands-on skills: how to assess an injured pet and take vital signs, what to keep in a first aid kit, how to respond to the most common emergencies, from bleeding and poisoning to choking and heatstroke, and the CPR and rescue breathing techniques that can keep a dog or cat alive on the way to the clinic. You will finish prepared, confident, and clear about when to act and when to get help.
