Emergency Contraception Explained

About this course

Emergency contraception is the backstop that exists for the moments when regular contraception fails: a broken condom, a missed pill, or an unplanned encounter. This classroom explains exactly what emergency contraception is and is not, compares the three options by timing and effectiveness, and walks through how to get it quickly, what to expect, and how to get back on a regular method afterward.
